Hey There

I’m Jessica! A traveler at heart, a psychologist by passion, and a content creator sharing stories through my lens and experiences. My life has been a journey of chasing new horizons, embracing challenges, and searching for a place to call home. Now, I share my story to inspire you to explore the world, connect deeply with yourself, and create a life that feels truly yours.

All About Me

Hi, I'm Jessica —a 24-year-old  global citizen who’s had the privilege to call several countries “home” at different points in my life, not to mention countless adventures in between.

I am a Travel Consultant and a Life Coach. With a degree in Psychology. and the honor of winning the prestigious Egel Senegal Award (reserved for the top 1% of graduates nationwide), I've dedicated my travels to exploring not just new places, but also the depths of human connection and self-discovery.

I love blending my psychology background with my years of firsthand travel experience. My blog is a reflection of everything I’ve learned—both from my journeys around the world and the personal battles I’ve faced. It is a space where I provide a treasure trove of travel hacks and tips— from budget travel, packing necessities, itineraries, making friends in the road, travel mindset strategies, and solo female adventures. But beyond that, it is also a place to explore the mental and emotional aspects of travel—dealing with fear, loneliness, anxiety, self-discovery, and the pursuit of happiness through movement.

Growing up, because of all the moving around, I often felt adrift without a stable group of friends or a place to truly belong. That struggle inspired me to build a community where fellow wanderers can find a sense of home, no matter where they are in the world. I want to help those who feel lost or stuck, who dream of traveling more but aren’t sure where to begin, or who simply yearn for genuine connection.

In addition to being a travel consultant and life coach, my work as a content creator and social media expert is deeply tied to my psychology background and travel experiences. Photography became my creative outlet at 11.

By the time I turned 13, I already had a professional camera and was getting paid as a photographer. At 17 I started modeling and creating content, but it wasn't until I turned 19 that my social media took off thanks to TikTok, allowing me to build a 300k+ audience in under 2 years by sharing stories that blend travel, languages, mental wellness, and creativity. I now help others navigate social media through mentorship, offering guidance that merges psychology, travel, and digital storytelling into a cohesive, impactful journey for my clients.

Join me as we embark on a journey that explores the outer world through travel and the inner world through introspection. Together, we will forge deep connections and embrace both adventure and personal growth, building a life filled with meaning and belonging—no matter where in the world you are.

My Story

I'm a half Italian-half Mexican girl. My father is Mexican, and my mother is Italian, because of that, I’ve been moving around from a very early age, constantly adapting to new places, cultures, and ways of life. My journey has been anything but conventional, and every move has shaped me into the person I am today.

Born in Italy, I was just a month old when my family relocated to Mexico. My early years in Acapulco (from 0-7 years old) were filled with the vibrancy of coastal life, but as the city became increasingly dangerous due to drug cartels, my family and I had to leave what we called home to search for a safer life, so we moved to San Jose, Costa Rica (from 7-10 years old), but unfortunately, here I had to endure one of the most challenging periods of my life. Severe bullying—both psychological and physical—left a lasting impact, leading me to make a bold decision at just 10 years old: I left my parents behind and moved alone to Italy, seeking refuge with my grandmother in a small town with only 1,200 residents near Vicenza (10-16). It was in this quiet Italian countryside that I began to rebuild my self-confidence and sense of identity.

At 16, eager for new experiences, I joined an exchange program and spent a year in the United States, living with a host family in Georgia. This experience pushed me out of my comfort zone and allowed me to master English while adapting to yet another culture. When I returned, I settled in Mérida, Mexico (17-21), where I pursued my undergraduate degree in Psychology. At 21, I embarked on an internship in Valencia, Spain, working in the mental health field. This experience was transformative, allowing me to channel my personal struggles into meaningful work. I built a strong routine, created a network of supportive friends, and found a renewed sense of purpose.

At 22, I moved to Madrid for a university exchange program. However, upon returning home at 23, I faced an overwhelming internal struggle. Years of battling undiagnosed depression and ADD had taken their toll. Seeking professional help, I was finally diagnosed, and through therapy and deep introspection, I found clarity and emotional healing. It was during this time that I decided to take a gap year, traveling extensively through Asia—a journey that reignited my passion for exploration and self-discovery.

At 24, I moved to Bali, a place that immediately felt like home. Up until then, I had always yearned to find my place in the world. I traveled extensively, hoping each destination would be the one where I felt truly happy. It was  the first time I could envision creating a life in one place—a place to call home. Bali offered me an incredible community filled with open-minded, spiritual, kind and healthy people who share my passions and lifestyle. It was where I finally felt I belonged and could build a fulfilling life surrounded by like-minded individuals. When I found Bali, it was like a dream come true—the place I had been searching for all along. Here, I have been able to combine my love for travel, psychology, and community-building. Having navigated a life of constant change, I understand the challenges of feeling rootless, of searching for a sense of belonging. This is why I am passionate about helping others who feel lost, unsure of where they fit, or who dream of seeing the world but don’t know how to begin.

My story is not just about the places I've lived in, but about the lessons each chapter has taught me—resilience, adaptability, and the pursuit of purpose. Sharing my journey is an invitation for you to reflect on your own path, embrace challenges with bravery, and build a life rich in meaning, exploration, and growth. This chapter of my life is just the beginning, and I’m honored to share it with you. I hope it encourages you to write your own story boldly, and I can’t wait to see where your unique journey leads you.
